(late 2003) THE PAGE has traced Mercury Prize nominees and much-hyped spandex wearing seventies-style rockers THE DARKNESS back to Norfolk blues outfit EGYPT. The rock and blues trio, well-known in the area, were mentioned in a recent article in The Independent..........
"Egypt" and "Preserving The Dead" HTD Records album covers These two albums, made for HTD Records, are now no longer available or rare. The first was originally released on vinil. Stable Records have plans for a repackaged re-issue for Preserving The Dead very soon, possibly May 2006.
